Following the disastrous Victorian fires, the Rotary Club of Noarlunga East, like everybody else we were coming to grips with the enormity of the disaster and looking for an immediate way to help.

Through their local network of contacts, they were able to arrange two loads of hay from farmers, a truck and a driver to deliver it. They then approached SAGE to assist with the funding of the fuel to get the hay to Victoria.

On the 19th of March the load of Hay was delivered to Flowerdale, which was being used as a staging point for donations to the area.

SAGE is pleased to be able to assist the Bush Fire victims with the $13,700 raised by the employees of SAGE (matched dollar for dollar by SAGE) for the Red Cross appeal and the additional funding of the fuel to transport the Hay to Victoria.
